September social events

September social events have now been finalised. These include two brewery trips, a minibus trip and evening strolls – more details are on the Branch Diary page. The dates will also appear in the branch calendar and are posted on our Facebook page & you can “subscribe” to them from there.

  • Wednesday 7th September – Royston Social starts at 8pm at first pub
  • Saturday 10th September – visit to new Redemption Brewery.
  • Wednesday 21st September – visit to Garden City Brewery.
  • Saturday 24th September – Minibus trip to Chapelfoot, Whitwell, Kimpton & Codicote.
  • Wednesday 28 September – Hitchin Social starts at 8pm at first pub

Information on local beer festivals (and some not so local) has been updated for August and September. It can be found here. The information can also be found in the calendar on the right hand side.

Minibus trip, 20 August – places still available

MINIBUS TRIP – Places are still available on the Minibus Trip this Saturday.
The trip will visit pubs in Aston, Bennington and Stevenage, including two pubs in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide.

Anglia Region Pub of the Year – update

The judging trip will set off from the Half Moon in Hitchin at 10.30 on Saturday 23 July.

The final cost per person is still being finalised.

Branch Open Meeting: The Chequers, Woolmer Green; 8.00 pm

All members are invited to tonight’s Branch Open Meeting.
