The new landlord and landlady at the Windmill in Charlton, Lee and Sarah Armstrong, are planning to hold their first beer festival over this weekend. They expect to have 9 cask ales and 2 ciders on offer.

Branch Meeting, 6th July, Victoria, Hitchin
This is to confirm that the venue for the next Branch Meeting is the Victoria, Hitchin. We will have use of their function room. Also, remember we’ll be voting for a Most Improved Pub; so please pass any MIP nominations to me in advance.
This evening’s pub ramble
This evening’s pub ramble will be in Baldock, starting at the Old White Horse at 20:00. Moving on to the Broken Drum, the White Hart, the Hen & Chickens and the Cock. Hope to see you there.
Tring Brewery – Herts Beer Of The Year
The presentation to Tring Brewery for the Herts Beer Of The Year will be from 19:30 tonight.
Unfortunately, there was not enough interest to do a minibus as we had intended. Some people will be making their own way there, as of course, will people from the other Herts branches.
