About Us
North Hertfordshire CAMRA is a branch of the national CAMRA organisation and consists of all members who live in the branch area. If you are a CAMRA member who lives in or around Stevenage, Hitchin, Letchworth, Baldock or Royston (to follow the railway line!) or near the A10 from Royston to some way south of Buntingford, then you are a probably part of our branch. To see a map, follow this link to the Hertfordshire CAMRA Branches Pub Database, select “North Hertfordshire” as the branch and “Display on map” then click “Submit” at the bottom of the page.
North Herts CAMRA are a mixture of male and female, young and not-so-young, fat and (relatively) thin, with and without hair (facial and otherwise)… all sharing a love of good cask-conditioned beer.

Come join us!
There are over 600 of us at the last count, but unfortunately we rarely see more than a few of you. Please come along to our pub rambles & minibus trips to visit pubs you might not otherwise try. Volunteer at our festivals (it’s great fun being behind the bar, and you get a bit of a discount on the beer!) and, if you’re game, drop in to our branch meetings to see how the branch is run and have the opportunity to voice your own concerns about real ale in North Hertfordshire.
