Good Beer Guide 2019 – long list announced

This is the branch’s Good Beer Guide 2019 long list of 30 pubs (actually 39 pubs due to the score cut off point). These are the top contenders for inclusion into next year’s 2019 GBG.

The selection of the short list will take place in the first week in January 2018 based on the pub beer scores in WhatPub and CAMRA pub selection criteria. So the beer score cut-off date will be Tuesday 2nd January; i.e. just over 5 weeks away.

Note that a number of pubs in the long list are in danger of being removed at the final select point due to not meeting one or more of the selection criteria, e.g. the minimum number of scores, the minimum number of reporters and the minimum number of visits.

So please can members continue to score their beers in WhatPub for each pub they visit, in particular those listed below. Can I draw members’ attention to the CAMRA beer scoring guidance at .
