Buntingford Britannia wins Silver

Hot news just announced.

Buntingford Brewery just won Silver with “Britannia” in the Best Bitters category of the Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival, from 18 other beers in the same class.

the Windmill, Charlton, Beer Festival, 31st July to 2nd Aug.

The new landlord and landlady at the Windmill in Charlton, Lee and Sarah Armstrong, are planning to hold their first beer festival over this weekend.  They expect to have 9 cask ales and 2 ciders on offer.

1st Bishops Stortford Real Ale Festival

Our CAMRA friends in the south east of Hertfordshire have organised the 1st Bishops Stortford Real Ale Festival for next weekend. Cricketers, Ickleford – The Icklefest!

The Cricketers, Ickleford has become a free house (once again) after being bought from Charles Wells.

To celebrate the Icklefest Beer Festival is taking place from the 30th July to 2nd August with plenty of cask ale and real cider.
